BREAKING: Sahyna Jah Out Indefinitely Due To Conduct Detrimental To The Team

South Carolina's women's basketball team will be playing without one of their youngest players for the foreseeable future.

South Carolina's women's basketball team was already coming into tonight's game with their star center in Kamilla Cardoso, and it appears that at least for the foreseeable future, they'll be without one of their younger bench pieces as well. Earlier this evening, the program announced on X that freshman wing Sahnya Jah was "out" indefinitely due to conduct detrimental to the team.

Jah was ranked by ESPN HoopGurlz as the 40th best prospect nationally in the 2024 class and has averaged 3.1 points and 2 rebounds per game in 16 total appearances this season. With Jah currently not with the team, that means that the Gamecocks will be down to nine healthy and active scholarship players for their game against Missouri tonight and their huge showdown with the No. 11 UConn Huskies on Sunday.
