During his weekly teleconference call on Sunday night, Shane Beamer delivered some sobering news regarding the status of four offensive starters for South Carolina. Ahmarean Brown, Xavier Legette, Tree Babalade, and Trovon Baugh were all questionable for the Gamecocks upcoming matchup against the Texas A&M Aggies.

The injuries add to what has become a laundry list of them, at least regarding the offensive line. On Tuesday, Beamer gave a minor update on that specific group, saying that Brown is now doubtful, and the others, while participating in a limited capacity in Tuesday's practice, are still questionable. Shane also caught people up to speed on star wideout Juice Wells, saying that he'll be out for this week but believes there's still a chance he will be back this Fall.

"If you ask Juice, I think he would tell you he'd like to come back and play at some point this season," Beamer stated. "He's a competitor. He wants to be out there. He's in every meeting. He's engaged. He's talking. He's working like crazy to be able to get back."

The third-year head man also gave an encouraging update on linebacker Mohamed Kaba, who's been out with a season-ending injury since the Gamecocks week one matchup against the North Carolina Tar Heels. Kaba was in meetings this morning and looked to be in good spirits.
