BREAKING: Gamecocks Land Transfer DB Gerald Kilgore
Exciting news for the Gamecocks as Gerald Kilgore, a talented player at the Defensive Back position, officially commits to the Gamecock football program At 6-0ft tall and 202 strong, Gerald has made a mark in the sports arena during his time at Tennessee Tech. Known for making the transition from QB to DB this past year and playing at a high level, he brings a wealth of skill and dedication to his new team. his Stats for 2023: he Had 37 tackles 27 solo, 10 assist, 2.5 TFL, 5 PBU’S and 85.1 PFF grade as a redshirt freshman.
Gerald Kilgore, is the older brother of Gamecock freshman All-American, and Freshman All-SEC defensive back Jalon Kilgore, who holds a notable position. Jalon, ranking 12th in the SEC in tackles, 6th in pass breakups (PD's), and 7th in solo tackles, is making a significant impact on the field. Now, with both Kilgore brothers in action, the Gamecocks are poised to witness the emergence of a dynamic brotherly duo, ready to challenge the SEC and pose challenges for opposing teams in the years ahead.
