One of the best traditions in college football that is likely to end after this season unless the conference somehow survives with just two teams, is 'Pac-12 After Dark'.

Late-night games on the West Coast that are starting even later in the rest of the country, like Friday's matchup between Colorado and Stanford. However, while it has been a timeless tradition it is one that Colorado head coach Deion Sanders is likely happy he will no longer be partaking in after the Buffs make the switch to the Big 12.

In a recent appearance on his radio show, Sanders revealed that he is not thrilled with the late start, as the game kicks off at 7:00 PT/8:00 MT/10:00ET.

“Who makes these 8 o’clock games? That is the dumbest thing ever. It’s the stupidest thing ever in life. Who wants to stay up until 8 o’clock for a dern game?” Sanders said. “What about the East Coast? Do they even care about ratings or anybody watching it?"

When it was suggested that Sanders watched other football games, he appeared to not think that would be enough to kill the time.

"Who’s playing on Friday?" asked Sanders.

Five of Colorado's games rank among the 10 most-watched games in the country, as Sanders has turned what was a travesty of a program into the most popular program in the country. It is still likely fans tune in, but it appears safe to say that Brett Yormark may want to attempt not scheduling Colorado for the Big 12's late slot in the future.
