As a part of their rebuild Stanford badly needs to get more tangible depth across the offensive line.

The Cardinal will be getting some younger guys experience in 2023 due to the fact they lost almost all of their starters, but adding depth for the future is of the utmost importance for the staff. On Thursday it was reported by On3 that Stanford will be hosting 2024 four-star offensive tackle Ellis Davis for an official visit.

The Texas native has scheduled three official visits, and the Cardinal will be the lone out of state visit for him, as he also plans to take a trip to Lubbock to see Texas Tech, and then head to the Dallas Fort-Worth area to see TCU.

Stanford gets the first visit on June 1, then he will head to Texas Tech on June 9 and TCU on June 16.

Texas Tech is viewed as the favorite, but Stanford has clearly made an impression in a short amount of time despite offering him in late March.

According to On3, Davis ranks as the No. 65 overall prospect in the country, the No. 9 offensive tackle and the No. 13 player in Texas.
