Arnaud Dugas Recaps 'Awesome' Syracuse Visit

In this story:
Class of 2025 Canadian quarterback Arnaud Dugas is transferring into the United States for his junior year of high school. Dugas is already on the radar of power five programs, including Syracuse where he visited on Thursday.
"It was awesome," Dugas said. "My favorite part was, for sure, to be able to talk to the QB coach (Manny Harris) so I could gain some quick knowledge and be able to understand their play style. I got to see pretty much everything on campus."
During his meeting with coach Harris, The 6-3, 170 pounder learned about some keys to the Orange offense and how he would fit.
"I love that receivers can change their route depending what the defense plays," Dugas said. "I think it brings more diversity in the offense and offers more opportunities for both the quarterback and wide receiver. I think I would fit well with this type of offense because I can recognize what defenses play pretty easily. It's where I excel. Coach Harris is a great coach. He showed me quick and direct every play, no need for unnecessary information. He goes straight to the point. Also he asked questions to see if we understood properly. I really like the kind of offense the Orange plays. Seems like great coaching and great schemes."
Dugas was also impressed by the facilities.
"The new facility where everything was payed out looked great with a nice indoor field," Dugas said. "I can't wait for it to be finished. I also really liked the players lounge and cafeteria, where it's only football players. It's also nice that that's where you eat all your meals. Honestly all the facilities were great."
Overall, Dugas left impressed by what SU has to offer.
"I always liked Syracuse because I would look at their games on YouTube and on TV," Dugas said. "But getting a closer look really showed me what the Syracuse experience would be like. I honestly feel like Syracuse is in my top choices without a doubt."
