Devin Sisler Learns From Jason Beck During Syracuse Visit

In this story:
Class of 2025 quarterback Devin Sisler stars for New Jersey powerhouse Don Bosco at the high school level. That is why he is on the radar of schools like Syracuse, Rutgers, Maryland, Penn State, Ohio State and others. He spent Friday on the Syracuse campus for an unofficial visit.
"For my visit, we played games in the players lounge with my teammates, went in the team meeting room to hear coach Babers talk and I learned a lot more about the program and him in that meeting," Sisler said. "I think went with coach Beck, the QB coach, and went over their film and watched some tape with him. Had a great conversation with him. I then went on a campus tour where we got to see the cool parts of the campus. Then I got to suit up and take some pictures in the uniform. Then after that I talked to some more coaches and had a great conversation with coach Nunzio. I would say. my favorite part about the visit was definitely sitting down with coach Beck, watching film from practice and talking about their offense."
The 6-4, 200 pound signal caller learned how he fits in the Syracuse offense during his meeting with offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach Jason Beck.
"I learned with coach Beck that the way he runs an offense is not putting a QB into their offense but building the offense around the QB," Sisler said. "We talked about how their offense is all around the QB making reads every play, which I think is best for me because my knowledge of the game is my best feature. I learned that in every play they have a hot route if there is a blitz and pre-snap if you see a blitz. Peak at the linebacker to see if he's coming. If he isn't coming then you can go through your progression."
Sisler also enjoyed getting to check out the campus and facilities.
"The campus and facilities were pretty nice," Sisler said. "I like how they are updating and adding on to the building so I can't wait to see when it's done."
Overall, the visit left an impression on the talented 2025 qu
"I feel the visit let me see how campus is in person and learn more about the program," Sisler said. "I would say Syracuse is up there with some of the other schools."
