Emanuel Ross Flips From Stanford to Syracuse

The Orange lands a four star wide receiver.

Class of 2024 Red Bank (NJ) Catholic wide receiver Emanuel Ross has flipped his commitment from Stanford to Syracuse. He officially visited the Orange over the weekend and announced his decision on social media Wednesday. 

Ross is listed at 6-2, 200 pounds and had been committed to Stanford since June. Ross also holds offers from Boston College, Duke, Florida State, Illinois, Kentucky, Maryland, Michigan State, Northwestern, Penn State, Pittsburgh, Texas A&M, UCF, Vanderbilt, Virginia, Wake Forest and West Virginia, among others.

As a recruit, Ross is very highly rated and ranked. Both the On3 Industry Average and 247Sports Composite Ranking list Ross as a four star. He is listed as a four star in the stand alone ratings on both ESPN and On3. 247Sports and Rivals list Ross as a high three star prospect.

Ross is ranked as high as 129th overall in the entire 2024 recruiting cycle by On3, who also puts him as the 25th best wide receiver in the class. The On3 Industry Average ranks him 304th overall and 50th best wide receiver in the class. He is a consensus top seven player in New Jersey as well.
