Norcross (GA) Wesleyan School tight end Jamie Tremble is one of the best at his position in the 2024 class. He is rated a four star prospect by 247Sports and spend the weekend on the Syracuse campus for his first official visit.

"Probably the best part was getting to see the facilities," Tremble said. "At first, I was kind of skeptical because I didn't know how big Syracuse was going to be. I didn't really know much about them before I visited. The campus was just huge with all the facilities. Coach Campanile was just telling me about all the improvements and remodels they're going to do by like 2025. The visit overall was great, but my favorite part was seeing the campus and the facilities."

The Orange coaches envision the 6-4, 205 pounder filling into a role that has already made one current player a star.

"The coaches already have a set plan for me and what they expect me to play," Tremble said. "The tight end position, the Y position there. They want me to kind of fill in Oronde Gadsden's position. They said once he leaves, they're probably going to mold me into someone like him. Split out and split in at the same time. Just kind of a mismatch, fast tight end who's versatile.

"I think that's great. I think it fits my play style a lot. Of course I'm going to get bigger and bigger. I think I can mold into an athletic tight end who can split in or split out. I think what's different about me, and coaches don't really know yet, is that I can block too. I'm not scared to put my hand in the dirt and I think they can use me as a versatile tight end who can do everything. I can extend the plays after the catch and can be a deep threat for them."

Oronde Gadsden was also Tremble's player host on the visit.

"It was super cool," Tremble said. "He's a super cool guy. He brought me around, driving me around everywhere. He was just saying this is a place he loves. When he chose this place he knew it was home. When you make your decision, pick where's best for you. But this place is just different compared to all the other places he went in the recruiting process.

"People after last season, because he had such a great season, were offering NIL deals, big NIL deals, but he turned them all down because he didn't want to go anywhere else. This was home for him. Definitely great being around him and getting advice from him, player on player. He gave me the real deal on things. He a cool guy. We had a great time together."

After the visit, Tremble says Syracuse is on top in his recruiting process.

"Syracuse is definitely, probably my number one school right now after going up on that visit," Tremble said. "It was a great visit. Definitely exceeded my expectations from what I first thought of Syracuse. Going up there as my first official visit, it skyrocketed what I thought of the place. It's definitely number one in my recruiting right now."

Next up for Tremble is an unofficial visit to Miami this coming week and possibly Duke and/or Georgia Tech the following weekend. He is looking to make a decision before the start of his senior season.
