Jaden Hart Discusses Syracuse Commitment

In this story:
Syracuse football picked up a big commitment over the weekend in Michigan City (IN) High running back Jaden Hart. Hart could not wait to announce his decision, doing so before his visit ended.
"Everything that I need in a program is there," Hart said. "Great coaches, the players are really close and the education there is great."
Going into the visit, the plan was not to commit. Hart said during his time on campus, he felt more and more like Syracuse was home. Part of the reason he felt at home was due to the current Orange players and how he bonded with them. That included player host Juwaun Price.
"It was an overall great experience being around him and his roommates," Hart said. "He told me Cuse is a great spot to be able to showcase your talents and compete early."
Once he made up his mind that he wanted to play at Syracuse, it was time to tell the coaches.
"They were all excited," Hart said. "They even announced it in front of everyone during dinner with everyone. It was great. Great way to end the visit."
Hart chose the Orange offers from Duke, Iowa State, Kentucky, Minnesota, Nebraska, Purdue and several others. He was also receiving interest from Notre Dame, Wisconsin, Indiana, Michigan State and Iowa.

Title: Publisher All Syracuse Education: Roberts Wesleyan College Location: Syracuse, New York Expertise: Syracuse basketball, football and recruiting. EXPERIENCE Mike McAllister has been covering Syracuse basketball, football and recruiting for more than a decade. Mike's career started with his own free blog as a way to vent following sporting events. Shortly thereafter, a network of basketball sites called Coast 2 Coast Hoops asked him to run their Syracuse site. That site was called Nation of Orange, and Mike quickly established it as a go-to for Syracuse fans. After running Nation of Orange for several months, a position with the Syracuse site on the Scout network became available. After one year as the recruiting expert with Cuse Nation, he was named the publisher. Mike oversaw the transition from Scout to 247Sports, and ran the site on that network for years. Presented with the opportunity to join one of the biggest names in the sports journalism industry, Sports Illustrated, Mike jumped at the chance. All Syracuse was started from scratch by Mike and the Fan Nation team. It has now become a staple for Orange fans of various sports. Mike has broken news on recruiting, Syracuse basketball and football team information and has established himself as the top recruiting inside in the market.
