Michael Thomas Reacts to Syracuse Offer

The class of 2025 wide receiver is a highly coveted recruit.

Class of 2025 Toms River (NJ) Donovan Catholic wide receiver Michael Thomas recently picked up an offer from Syracuse. The Orange joined an offer list that includes Boston College, Maryland, Michigan, Penn State, West Virginia and others.

"Coach Nunz came to the school to talk to me," Thomas said. "He said, 'you're a special kid. You put in a lot of work and it shows. Many coaches say great things about me.' It's always good to hear when coaches say nice things. Also shows they see the hard work I put into my game, but I will always remain humble."

This was not the first time Thomas had heard from Syracuse. He has spoken with Orange coaches before, and visited last October.

"The game was amazing," Thomas said. "The crowd was so into it. Definitely was great to be there."

Syracuse will look to get the extremely talented wideout on campus this summer for a closer look at the program and to bond with the Orange coaches.

Thomas is rated a four star prospect by 247Sports and ESPN. On3 and Rivals list him as a three star prospect. According to MaxPreps, Thomas had 43 catches for 544 yards and four touchdowns in 10 games last season.
