1. Jason Robinson & Michael Matthews-Canty

I like where Syracuse stands with both players. Robinson, a four star wide receiver from California, had a terrific visit. The Orange was able to show him how he would fit and thrive within the offense. We will see how things develop, but I like Syracuse's chances here. Matthews-Canty is a versatile prospect who could play linebacker or safety at the next level and is being recruited to play rover in the 3-3-5 at SU. He has set an announcement date for June 26th. I like the Orange's chances there as well.

2. Clinton Robinson & Ta'Ron Haile

Two more prospects that I think Syracuse has a really good shot to land. Both could announce as early as next week, though that is not definitive. Robinson is a talented defensive back Pennsylvania. West Virginia is Syracuse's biggest competition there, as the Mountaineers were his first offer and he has visited multiple times. I do not expect an official as of now, but things can change. Haile is a gifted wide receiver at Millville. High in New Jersey. Syracuse's Director of High School Relations Dennis Thomas coached Haile at Millville years ago. I would not be surprised if there was some movement this week, though nothing is set in stone. Either way, I like Syracuse's chances there as well.

3. Jamie Tremble

The four star tight end put Syracuse on top after the visit. He is looking to take trips to Miami, Duke and Georgia Tech next, however. That means the Orange's position at the top has some strong competition and things could change. Either way, Syracuse did a great job pitching their plan for Tremble and how they would utilize him in the offense. A decision could come by the end of the summer, so there is still a bit to go here.

4. Andy Bass

An intriguing situation with Bass. He is a quarterback from Oklahoma that Syracuse is recruiting as an athlete who would play multiple positions. He loved the visit and the plan, but did not commit. I think the hesitation was how far from home Syracuse is. He is set to visit Kansas and Oklahoma in the near future with a potential Kansas State trip as well. If any of those offer, it would be a serious threat to where Syracuse stands. Stay tuned.

5. Michael McMonigle

The class of 2024 offensive lineman did not commit on the visit. He was one I was watching going in. However, he did recently pick up an offer from Maryland and took an official there. Perhaps he has things to think about or perhaps other schools are looking for him to visit. This is a tough one to read at the moment.
