Recruitment Recap: Fatim Diggs was a hot prospect with several power five offers early in his recruiting process. As the process progressed, his recruitment was a bit murky in terms of who was involved and who was recruiting him hard. When Fran Brown was hired at Syracuse, his New Jersey connections put him in touch with Diggs. Extensive conversations advanced to an official visit this past weekend. He would commit shortly thereafter. His brother, Texas A&M transfer Fadil Diggs, also committed one day later. Now the two will get to team up in Central New York.

Evaluation: Fatim Diggs has an excellent frame, is very athletic and has above average speed for the linebacker position. Despite being 6-3, 220 pounds, he still has a lot of room to add muscle to his frame and get even stronger without losing that speed. That, along with developing technique for block shedding, coverage and footwork, will be key to his development once he arrives to the Orange.
