Recruitment Recap: Hornsby committed to Texas A&M in early July with Elijah Robinson as his primary recruiter. When the Aggie staff was let go and Robinson took a job at Syracuse, the Orange became major players for his services. He took an official visit earlier this month, and that was enough to flip his commitment.

Evaluation: Another talented, athletic wide receiver, Hornsby has elite hands and runs crisp routes. He is physical, has a great frame and is a bit of a technician as a receiver. Hornsby would be a great compliment to Emanuel Ross. The two could play off of each other and both are capable of making plays down the field. As a senior, Hornsby had six more touchdowns than as a junior with similar receptions and yardage. He has a knack for making plays in the red zone as well. Hornsby projects as someone who could be a contributor early in his career.
