Syracuse football hosted 2026 Canadian wide receiver Rayene Chiha for an unofficial visit over the weekend. 

"It was a great visit," Chiha said. "I had the opportunity to meet coaches from the Syracuse team, watch the players practice and they have a great staff that gave us their time to give us a tour of the sports facilities and more. The best part was that I had a chance to get coached by the coaches. They're really good with their words and I got to learn a lot from them. They also gave me a closer look at their program. I loved it." 

During the visit, Chiha's meetings with the Orange coaches was especially memorably. 

"Basically I had a meeting with the head coach and receivers coach," Chiha said. "They were talking about their career and how they coach their players. The receivers coach taught me a lot about the position, the steps he tells his players and the way he makes them better. He made me realize that to be part of the roster there's certain things that you have to learn about to be the better players. They're amazing coaches and I'm most certainly happy that I got to learn from the best." 

Watching practice was another highlight of the trip. 

"Amazing practice," Chiha said. "The players are disciplined and quick. Everything they do is quick and I liked the intensity. It's all about being competitive."

Overall, Chiha left impressed by what SU has to offer. 

"It made me more interested in the Syracuse program," Chiha said. "It inspired me to play for that type of level."

Mike's career started with his own free blog as a way to vent following sporting events. Mike oversaw the transition from Scout to 247Sports, and ran the site on that network for years.  Presented with the opportunity to join one of the biggest names in the sports journalism industry, Sports Illustrated, Mike jumped at the chance. All Syracuse was started from scratch by Mike and the Fan Nation team. It has now become a staple for Orange fans of various sports.  Mike has broken news on recruiting, Syracuse basketball and football team information and has established himself as the top recruiting inside in the market. He has appeared on local radio shows, television broadcasts, national radio shows and much more. Mr. McAllister has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting and Information Management from Roberts Wesleyan College.
