Syracuse Basketball Commit Elijah Moore Scores 67 Points on Senior Night

The Orange signee put up video game like numbers Tuesday night.

Syracuse basketball signee Elijah Moore put up an eye popping 67 points on senior night as Our Savior Lutheran (OSL) beat Compass 133-86. Moore was an electric 13-19 from three point range on the night. For those counting, that's 68% from beyond the arc in the game. Absolutely insane.

Moore is a 6-4 guard who is considered one of the best shooters in the 2024 recruiting class. With Donnie Forward receiving so many accolades, including becoming a McDonald's All-American and earning a fifth star, Moore has been a bit forgotten in Syracuse's class and he has gone under the radar to some extent as a result. His senior night performance may change that.

Moore is a consensus four star recruit but his overall ranking is all over the place. 247Sports has him 54th in the class, Rivals has him 53rd. On3, however, ranks him 110th while ESPN has him outside of the top 100 as well.

The sharpshooter committed to Syracuse in January 2023 and officially signed with the Orange this past November. He picked Syracuse over offers from Alabama, Arkansas, Illinois, Mississippi State, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, St. John's, Xavier and others.

Moore is originally from the Bronx (NY) and played at Cardinal Hayes High School before transferring to OSL for his senior season.
