Terez Davis 'In Shock' Over Syracuse Offer During Visit

The class of 2024 two-way lineman details closer look at the Orange.

Syracuse football had been in constant communication with class of 2024 two-way lineman Terez Davis out of DaMatha Catholic in Maryland. However, an offer had not been extended entering his visit to campus on Saturday. Before he left to head back home, head coach Dino Babers changed that.

"I was talking to coach Johnson," Davis said. "Then he wanted me to talk to coach Babers. He sat me down in his office and asked if I like long or short stories. I said short and then he gave me an offer to Syracuse.

"Man I was in shock. Couldn't believe it."

During the visit, Davis got to do a variety of things in order to get a closer look at the the culture, the coaches and much more.

"Honestly, it was great, man," Davis said. "One of, if not the, best visit I have been one. The best parts were meeting the coaches. The way they knew stuff about me, I didn't even know they knew til I got there. So it was just really great.

"Also the facilities were amazing. The Dome is amazing. Also the tempo they play at practice was really nice."

In addition to Syracuse, the 6-6, 280 pounder says Maryland, South Florida, James Madison, Boston College, Appalachian State, Virginia Tech, Duke and Florida State are recruiting him hard.
