Texas A&M Aggies Football 2025 Recruiting Class Ranked Top 20

With highly-touted prospects like running back Deondrae Riden and cornerback Deyjhon Pettaway, the Texas A&M Aggies' 2025 recruiting class is impressive.

As the Texas A&M Aggies and new head coach Mike Elko prepare for the 2024 campaign, recruiting still takes priority to build for the future.

Last season the Aggies finished a disappointing 7-6 and chose to move on from former coach Jimbo Fisher in during the season in November. That can often wreak havoc on a program's recruiting efforts, especially for the following season.

But the Aggies have maintained their aggressive recruiting and it's payed off thus far for the 2025 cycle. ESPN has the Aggies 2025 class in the top 20, as A&M is ranked No. 16.

ESPN 300 commits: 4
Top offensive prospect: RB Deondrae Riden
Top defensive prospect: CB Deyjhon Pettaway

"Mike Elko now has a full year to work on the recruiting trail as he looks to build the Aggies into a consistent SEC contender. Landon Rink is a very good in-state addition to their defensive line. A competitive prospect who has shown consistent improvement throughout his high school career, Rink blends agility, technique and effort. He could be a quick contributor to the defensive line unit once he arrives. One of the top inside linebackers in the class, Kelvion Riggins, can be a physical and active presence.

"Pettaway needs to continue to fill out but is a corner with nice length and good movement skills. Despite not being a big body, he has shown physicality in his play. Riden is a back with a blend of size and speed and has rushed for over 1,000 yards each of the past two seasons."

The Aggies have a few SEC foes ahead of them on this list.

Georgia comes in at No. 15, Tennessee is No. 10, Oklahoma ranks No. 8, Auburn is No. 7, Alabama is no surprise at No. 6 and LSU is No. 2

The Ohio State Buckeyes have the No. 1 overall recruiting class per ESPN for the 2025 cycle.
