The Texas A&M Aggies men's basketball team kicks off its portion of the SEC men's basketball tournament against the Ole Miss Rebels on Thursday at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee.
Texas A&M ended the regular season on a three-game winning streak, winning the finale 86-60 over the Rebels behind a career-high 25 points from Manny Obaseki. Before the three wins the Aggies suffered their worst losing streak of the season at five games. The Rebels ended their season on a two-game skid and losers of eight of their last 10.

Texas A&M went 9-9 in league play this season while the Rebels were slightly worse at 7-11.
Wade Taylor IV leads the Aggies in scoring this season with 18.0 points per contest and averages 3.5 rebounds. Tyrece Radford has found his mark over the last 10 games of the regular season averaging 18.3 points and 6.4 rebounds.
For the Rebels, Matthew Murrell is averaging 16.3 points and 1.6 steals.
The tournament kicked off on Wednesday with matchups between No. 13. Vanderbilt vs. No. 12 Arkansas and No. 14 Missouri vs. No. 11 Georgia.
The Aggies will play the third game of the day on Thursday after matchups between No. 9 Mississippi State vs. No. 8 LSU and the winner of Vandy vs. Arkansas.
After the Aggies-Rebels game, No. 6 Florida will play the winner of Wednesday's MIzzou-Bulldogs contest.
