The Texas A&M Aggies men's basketball team has advanced to the SEC Tournament semifinal game on Saturday by virtue of a 97-87 win over Kentucky on Friday night.
A&M will play the Florida Gators, who beat Alabama 102-88 in the late game Friday to advance.

The winner on Saturday will face either the Auburn Tigers or Mississippi State Bulldogs, who play in the early game on Saturday, meaning by the time the Aggies and Gators tip-off, they'll know who their opponent will be.
Texas A&M is 11-9 in SEC play and ranks second among league teams averaging 42.7 rebounds per game, led by Andersson Garcia with 9.5. Florida has gone 13-7 in league play, and are the only team averaging more rebounds per game than the Aggies with 43.1. Part of what has helped the Aggies' run this season is their ability to out-rebound on their offensive boards, offering numerous second-chance points.
Walter Clayton Jr. leads the way in scoring for the Gators with 17.3 points per game, while Tyrese Samuel has averaged 16.2 points over the last 10 contests. For the Aggies, Wade Taylor IV is scoring 18.5 points per game with Tyrece Radford averaging 17.4 points and 7.1 assists over his last 10 matchups.
Taylor scored 32 points against Kentucky on Thursday after scoring 20 against Ole Miss in Round 2.
