COLLEGE STATION - Defeating top-ranked Alabama would be a difficult task for any team to do. For Texas A&M, at least they contended. Kellen Mond shined on offense, throwing for 264 yards and scoring three total touchdowns. Tua Tagaviloa matched him, throwing for nearly 300 yards and four touchdowns on the way to a 47-28 victory.

The Aggies (3-3, 1-2 SEC) will need to find a way to win if they hope to contend for a New Year's Six Bowl. That could begin this upcoming weekend when the team travels to Oxford, Mississippi, to face Ole Miss. The Rebels are coming off a loss to now ranked Missouri behind the arm of Kelly Bryant.

Texas A&M should be ready to contend. After all, there's a reason they're the favorite.

The Aggies open Saturday's matchup as a six-point favorite over Ole Miss, according to Golden Gate Casino. The over/under comes in at 56.5.

Establishing a run game could be the difference-maker for Texas A&M. The team has struggled to rusher triple-digits while Ole Miss is known for their strong run defense. The Aggies found minimal success against the Crimson Tide, with Mond leading the rushing attack for 99 yards at Kyle Field.

All-time against Ole Miss, Texas A&M ranks 4-3. Success has been on their side in recent years as the Aggies claimed victory over Matt Luke's squad a season ago. Mond threw for 236 yards and three touchdowns on his way to a 38-24 win at Kyle Field.

The Aggies will take on Ole Miss on Saturday, October 19, at 6 P.M. at Vaught-Hemmingway Stadium. The game will be televised on SEC Network.
