The Aggies and Cowboys face off in the Texas Bowl on Dec. 27 in Houston at NRG Stadium. It's the 28th overall matchup between the two teams, who were Big 12 brothers from 1996-2012, and the Cowboys lead the all-time series 18-10.

The Aggies are playing their first game since the hiring of Mike Elko as head coach, but former interim coach Elijah Robinson will be at the helm for one last time before Elko takes over. A&M hopes to take Robinson out on a positive note.

The Cowboys lost to the Longhorns in the Big 12 Championship game last month, and want to end the season with a win.

Let's take a look at the offensive players that Robinson and the Aggies' defense will have to prepare for in the upcoming Texas Bowl.

QB Alan Bowman

Alan Bowman isn't the same highly sought-after talent he was early in his college career. He went from being viewed as Texas Tech's next Patrick Mahomes to a glorified grad assistant at Michigan where he played sparingly. But at Oklahoma State, Bowman has played well. This season he threw for 3,058 yards and 13 touchdowns to 12 interceptions.

WR Brennan Presley

While they have had more electric passing attacks in years past, one thing has been constant in the passing game this year and it is senior wide receiver Brennan Presley. He has a career-high 85 catches for 839 yards while averaging 939- yards per reception. The 5-foot-8 speedster is seemingly always open and will push the Aggies' secondary.

RB Ollie Gordon II

Gordon leads the country in rushing yards with 1,614 and is second in the country in rushing touchdowns with 20 behind Michigan's Blake Corum.

Without a dynamic passing attack, the Cowboys hand the ball off to Gordon 20+ times a game, as he rushes for 6.3 yards per carry. Their next most productive back has 208 carries less and has just 197 yards on the year, meaning that Mike Gundy's squad will ride the Gordon in the Texas Bowl.
