Former Aggies WR Chris Marshall Dismissed by Ole Miss
The Ole Miss Rebels have dismissed former Texas A&M Aggies receiver Chris Marshall from the program, the team announced on Saturday, citing a violation of team rules.
Marshall is one of the top transfer portal pieces added by head coach Lane Kiffin this offseason from the Aggies. He spent one season in College Station, catching 11 passes for 108 yards in six games.

“Chris Marshall has been dismissed from the Ole Miss football program for violation of team rules. We wish him good luck in his future plans.”
In the Rebels' annual Grove Bowl this spring, Marshall hauled in four passes for 89 yards. He was likely to be called upon to alleviate some of the production lost with the departure of Jonathan Mingo and Malik Heath to the pros this offseason, but now, Kiffin will have to restructure some of his offensive plans before September.
Marshall was a five-star recruit out of high school, ranked the No. 24 player in the nation, according to On3. The publication also listed him as the No. 33 transfer in the portal this offseason.
The Rebels host the Aggies in Oxford on Saturday, Nov. 4.
