Nowadays, recruiting never stops until the prospect puts pen to paper.

Though he committed to the Washington Huskies Oct. 26, 2022, class of 2024 quarterback EJ Caminong has since received three new offers, including one from the Texas A&M Aggies March 24. Caminong is keeping his options open as well, announcing Wednesday that he will be taking an official visit to College Station June 9 as part of a month-long recruiting trip.

He is taking an official visit to Oregon State Friday, as well as heading to Washington June 16, BYU June 19 and California June 22.

Caminong is currently a three-star recruit, the No. 21 quarterback in the class, the ninth-best high school player in Washington and the top signal-caller in the state.

The 6-2, 195-pound pro-style quarterback made a progression in his game ahead of his junior season, 247Sports' Brandon Huffman said.

"He always had the physical tools and the arm strength but where he's improved greatly is in his pocket presence and his decision making, instead of forcing throws like he did as a sophomore, he's going through reads, keeping his eyes downfield and dropping passes right into the tightest of windows," Huffman wrote.

In the 2023 recruiting class, Texas A&M signed quarterbacks four-star Marcel Reed and Fresno State transfer Jaylen Henderson. In 2024, the lone Aggies quarterback commit is three-star Anthony Maddox.
