The Texas A&M Aggies football team has had its share of ups and downs in coach Jimbo Fisher's tenure in Aggieland.

One of the position groups that has struggled is the offensive line. That's made more evident by the misadventures of the quarterback position over the past couple of years since Kellen Mond left for the NFL.

Inexperience and injuries have plagued the Aggies o-line, but now it appears Fisher and Co. have solved much of the perceived problems with the position group.

Recruiting legend and college football writer Mike Farrell recently released his annual "3-point stance" series ranking the top returning offensive line rooms in the SEC. And based on the returning talent and expected lineup, the Aggies are No. 4 on that list.

“The team wasn’t good last year, but the OL talent is very good. Bryce Foster can make a case for the best center in the country, " said Farrell.

Farrell's mention of returning center Bryce Young is telling, especially since he's become maybe the best at his position in the game. He's dealt with injuries, and that's slowed his progress since being viewed as a possible first-round draft pick when evaluated in high school.

But his health, along with the return of right guard Layden Robinson and right tackle Reuben Fatheree have put the Aggies near the top.
