Tennessee basketball has another SEC road test up on deck as they take on the Missouri Tigers. Tennessee enters this game ranked 5th in the nation overall, coming off of a two-game win streak against Vanderbilt and Arkansas. They won both of those games dominantly with dominant performances from star big man Jonas Aidoo. They did enough in those two games to jump three spots in the rankings.

Missouri enters this game unranked with an underwhelming record of 8-17 on the season. They are on a twelve-game losing streak as they have their toughest matchup so far on deck.

Tennessee is a team led by star forward Dalton Knecht. Knecht has an average of 20.1 points, 4.7 rebounds, 2.0 assists, 0.7 steals, 0.8 blocks, a field goal percentage of 48%, a three-point percentage of 39.6%, and is one of the top players in the nation.

Tennessee is expected to win this game but it won’t happen if they can’t punch Missouri in the mouth. Tennessee will likely have a big game out of one of their big three performers: Knecht, Aidoo, or Zakai Zeigler.

To win this game, Missouri will need a huge performance from either Noah Carter or Sean East. They will need to defuse this Tennessee offensive attack and counter-punch them to the best of their ability. This is a bigger game for the Tigers than it is for the Volunteers; however, if the Volunteers lose a game like this, they may have to kiss their potential No. 1 March Madness seed goodbye.
