Coveted In-State OL Anderson Recaps First Conversation With Heupel

Fisher Anderson is one of the more sought after prospects in the state of Tennessee. The 6'7 275 pounds junior offensive tackle reports over 25 Division 1 offers; and he has only continued to improve his stock as his frame continues to fill out.
Anderson quickly had a conversation with Tennessee's new head coach shortly after he took the job.
"He basically said that he wanted to move on my class quick and hard. He also values keeping guys in-state," Anderson said of the conversation between the two
The early conversation impressed the mid-state lineman, as he said "it is pretty cool to get interest this early (from Heupel). I am very blessed."
Anderson is an athletic lineman who excels in space, and he said on the possibility of playing a warp speed style offense like Huepel's, " I am willing to play in whatever offense I need to, but I wouldn't mind playing so fast paced."
Tennessee's pitch to keep in-state guys home resonates with Anderson, as he said, "the biggest appeal, honestly, is closeness to home. The ability to drive in a day instead of a couple or flying is nice. It is good they have an emphasis on that."
Anderson currently has identified 15 schools he would like to work through, but that list could change at anytime, as his recruitment continues to intensify. He has several suitors including Penn State, Georgia, Auburn and Oregon, among others.
