In-State OL Joe Crocker Talks Tennessee Offer

Franklin Road Academy in Nashville, Tennessee, is home to a few football prospects, and none may be bigger than Joe Crocker.

The class of 2023 offensive tackle stands at 6-foot-7 and weighs around 310-pounds.

Just with size alone, it is easy to see why schools are taking an early interest in the rising junior.

The recruitment is going smooth for Crocker as he is just checking out all of his options so far.

On schools that are in contact, the most Crocker says, "I'm hearing from a couple of schools at the moment, nothing too much only being a 2023 prospect."

Currently, the current sophomore does not have any unofficial visits set, and there is no timeline on setting any.

It always has a special meaning when the home state institution extends an offer. When asked about the initial reaction, Crocker had this to say, "I was definitely excited to get the offer as it was the home state and such a prestigious school such as Tennessee with all the history. It was definitely an offer I had wanted, and I was excited to get and look forward to building a relationship with the staff."

The offer was made known to the Nashville-based prospect by his high school coaching staff and NPA. Crocker is looking forward to chatting with the current staff.

It is common to see schools offer and lose interest from the student-athlete by not doing a few things here and there. What does Tennessee have to do to maintain interest from Crocker moving forward?

"I'm just looking to build a good relationship with them and remain in close contact, and I want to see how they build under the next year or two under the new staff!"
