Vols Commit Justin Baker Recaps Tennessee Visit
Tennessee held a successful junior day over the weekend, as many targets and commits were on campus visiting Tennessee. One of the commits who made it to campus was Buford running back Justin Baker. Baker has been committed to the Vols since October 2023. Following his visit to Tennessee, he took the time to detail everything with Volunteer Country.
"It was a great visit overall. I spent a lot of time with the coaches in different ways. I talked a lot to Coach [Jerry] Mack; his number one thing for me was to stay hungry in whatever I do," Baker stated. He was then asked if he had the chance to hang around any fellow commits, and he confirmed that he did. "Yes, I spent a lot of time with Tyler Redmond and Dylan Lewis on the visit."
The 2025 class is already off to a great start, with five talented commits. The sky is the limit within the 2025 class, as the Vols are in on many top targets. "I think this class has a chance to be even better than the very talented class before us. Especially with George at QB, he's going to have a big pull for more talented guys," the talented running back commit stated.
The talented running back was asked what about his recruitment and commitment to the Tennessee Volunteers stood out the most, and he responded, "Definitely the family-centered atmosphere; I can tell their goal is to build up the whole athlete in every aspect of their life, not just on the field." Getting Baker back on campus was a huge plus for the Volunteers, as they continue to build their relationship with the talented prospect even though he is already committed, which is key to keeping your guys in the boat.
