The Tennessee Volunteers continued to fortify their offensive line class on Wednesday. 2024 four-star offensive lineman Max Anderson pledged his services to the Vols after his official visit on June 9, heading to Knoxville over other major suitors like the Oklahoma Sooners and Michigan Wolverines. He's been a big riser thus far and should continue to rise up the rankings after his commitment.

Anderson is a Frisco, Texas, native that stands 6-5 and 300 pounds. He had been trending toward the Vols for a while, but his most recent time on Rocky Top was enough for him to pull the trigger. Tennessee offensive line coach Glen Elarbee offered him in April 2022, one of his first major offers. Other programs came calling in recent months, but Anderson has underscored that Tennessee's early interest meant a lot to him.

This was a big win for the Vols. Anderson's older brother plays at Oklahoma, and the Sooners were a primary contender for a long time. However, Tennessee held firm in that they wanted him in this class. The Vols now turn their attention toward other offensive line targets, as they now have three in the fold. 2024 four-star offensive tackle Daniel Calhoun is their unquestioned No. 1 priority, and we should hear more from him in the coming weeks.
