Tennessee Staff Visits Jaime Ffrench

In this story:
Tennessee head coach Josh Heupel, offensive coordinator Joey Halzle, and wide receivers coach Kelsey Pope had an important trip to make on Thursday afternoon. They checked on Mandarin High School wide receiver Jaime Ffrench together. Ffrench recently decommitted from Alabama and the Vols have begun to seriously recruit him.
Tennessee's chances were bolstered when Brentwood Academy quarterback George MacIntyre committed to the Vols. Ffrench and MacIntyre have a previous relationship, and MacIntyre is recruiting him. According to the 247Sports Composite Rankings, Ffrench ranks as the No. 12 prospect in the 2025 class. He checks in as the No. 3 wide receiver in the class and is one of the next elite receivers to come out of Jacksonville, Florida.
Ffrench caught up with 247Sports's Steve Wiltfong and confirmed that he currently has a "sharp" top three of Florida State, Miami, and Ohio State. He also mentioned Georgia, Texas A&M, Tennessee, and Notre Dame as schools that interest him. Volquest's Austin Price reported that Ffrench and Tennessee are attempting to set up an unofficial visit this spring, which would be a major opportunity for this coaching staff.
