Vols 'A Major Option' for Baylor Commitment Roberts-Day After Re-Offer

Tennessee's staff has hit the recruiting trail hard over the last couple of weeks, and on Monday, they re-offered 2022 Athlete Kaian Roberts-Day. The standout from Festus High School (Mo.) is currently committed to Baylor but is keeping his options open as new offers roll in.
Coach Golesh offered me," Roberts-Day told VR2 on SI. "It was kinda just him asking questions and us getting to know each other."
"He was very open and just a chill guy and that he could help me get to where I wanna go," he said on his initial impression of the Vols offensive coordinator.
Roberts-Day is an athlete who can play on either side of the ball at the college level, but Tennessee offered him as a tight end.
He says Tennessee would like to use him as a Hybrid option and that he could even run the ball sometimes if he could convince the coach.
Roberts-Day is just taking the process in stride, as he will handle his recruitment as it comes, including with the Vols.
"Not much I want to learn," he said about Tennessee. "And also not much, I know; guess we'll see what gets thrown at me."
Despite the Baylor commitment, Tennessee will play a part in his recruitment moving forward. "Tennessee is already a major option for me," he said.
So what will it take for a school to flip Roberts-Day? That will all be decided by him.
"Nobody will make me change my mind. Only I will make myself change my mind about what I want to do for the next four years of my life."
