TreVeyon Henderson is the complete package at the running back position. The standout from Hopewell (VA) totaled over 3,000 all-purpose yards last season, and he scored 53 touchdowns. His efforts the Blue Devils to a perfect 15-0 season. Let's take a look at the elite runner here.

Henderson is a do-it-all back and can impact the game in all phases. Hopewell used him effectively in the screen game, but I have seen his ability to make plays down the field as well. He is polished as a pass-catcher, which helps to make him one of the best backs in the country.

Henderson's ability with the ball in his hands is second to none. He has a quick lateral burst that allows him to create separation from defenders and get started north to south. Henderson is as tough as it gets to square up, even in tight spaces. At 5'11, 195lbs, he is deceptively shifty. His lateral burst is more like an explosion. He is great at the point of contact, and he excels in making defenders miss.

For me, the thing that sets Henderson apart is his awareness with the ball. He is special in this regard. He sets up multiple blocks at a time before they ever happen, which allows him to explode into the second, and break free. He seemingly wins every foot race, and he always seems to outrun angles.

Henderson holds over 40 offers from Division 1 colleges, and he has a host of suitors that are still pursuing him. Henderson has visited Tennessee once last season, and the Vols need to get him back on campus this Spring to stay in this race.

Henderson is rated as the number 11 prospect in the nation, number 1 RB, and the number one prospect from Virginia for 2021, according to 247 Sports.
