Just In: Three-Star DL Reginald Perry chooses Tennessee, talks decision

Reginald Perry is one of the most versatile big men in the country. The 6'6, 300lbs Perry is a three-star defensive lineman according to the recruiting services, but he also has an offer to play tight end from a Division 1 school. Perry's athleticism stems from his success on the basketball court and has helped make him a highly recruited prospect.
Perry broke the news just minutes ago that he was going to further his football career at the University of Tennessee. Perry told VR2 before the announcement, "what pushed Tennessee to the top was how they take care of people like they are their own son."
Perry has developed a strong bond with Tennessee coach Kevin Sherrer during the recruiting process, and Sherrer was big in the Vols securing his signature. Perry said, "he is just a cool coach. He likes to joke around with me and have fun."
Perry said when he gets to Rocky Top, he expects to play, "a 3 and 4 tech, and I just want to work my way into the lineup."
Perry also added, "I am coming in the summer."
When asked what kind of player the Vols were getting in him, he said, "they are going to get a dog in Reginal Perry that wants every rep with everybody."
Perry is rated as the 681st overall prospect in the nation per 247 Sports.
