Harrison Bailey was awarded his fifth-star today per Rivals.com. Bailey becomes the only five-star in the 2020 class for Tennessee. Bailey is now one of the highest ranked prospects to step foot on Tennessee’s campus, especially at the quarterback position.

The bump came after a massive senior season for Bailey that resulted in a state title and a Geico State Championship Bowl Series win.

Bailey finished his career at Marietta with over 11,000 yards through the air and 115 touchdowns. Bailey’s senior season saw him compile almost 5,000 yards through the air and 50 touchdowns.

Per the initial release Bailey is the second pro-style quarterback in the country and the number 7 player from the state of Georgia. Rivals has not released the full rankings at this time to indicate his position nationally. Bailey has been on the cusp of five-star status for months, reaching as high as 37th overall nationally.
