Tennessee announces the date of annual Orange and White game

The Vols will take the field for the annual Orange and White game on

Are you missing football season yet? After a roller coaster 8-5 season in 2019, Tennessee has garnered some expectations coming into the 2020 season. The Tennessee Football Athletic department announced the date of the annual Orange and White game today.

The Vols will take the field at Neyland Stadium on April 18 with a time still to be decided. The time will simply be determined by the TV schedule for the other games going on around the SEC.

Tennessee will start their Spring practice on March 9th, and it should be an intriguing set of practices, full of major storylines. We plan to cover what those will be later this week.

The Vols spring game is also during a crucial recruiting time, as seniors can now take official visits in April. Tennessee will have to battle their rivals to the South in Florida and Georgia to get some top prospects on campus, as they have both scheduled their events for the 18th.

This Spring will be a pivotal chapter for Jeremy Pruitt, who enters his 3rd season as the coach of the Tennessee Vols. Be sure to follow along as VR2 will have all of your updates.
