Tennessee hosted a highly touted running back from the Tarheel state this weekend in Kamarro Edmonds of Havelock High School. Edmonds made the 15 hour round trip visit to get his first opportunity to take an in-depth look at Tennessee. He breaks down that visit here.

Edmonds said of the overall visit, "When I got there they just gave me a tour of the facilities like the weight room, coach's offices, and stadium. I talked to the OC, and he showed me plays they run, like Inside zone and outside. I was with coach Graham, and he showed me the drills they would do during practice."

Graham has wasted no time in getting back in his home state of North Carolina to recruit the area for Tennessee since his return to Knoxville. Edmonds said Graham made a 'great impression' on him.

He also added on the overall trip, "it was a great impression, especially because it was my 1st time there, and I felt like the coaches opened up to me and told me how they felt about me."

He added on fitting in at Tennessee, "I felt like I could fit in because of the way coach talked about his hardworking players, and it reminded me of myself."

Edmond did not get a chance to talk with two former stars from North Carolina in Tyus Fields and Quavaris Crouch, but he did hear from others about Tennessee. He said, "I did not get to talk to them, but fans and their schools told me its a great school, and they have had people in the NFL like Eric Berry and Peyton Manning.

Edmonds holds double digits offers, but he said the schools outside of Tennessee that are contacting him the most are, "UNC, Louisville, Mizzou, NC State, and South Carolina.

Edmonds is taking is time working through the recruiting process and is unsure of when a decision will come. It is likely that he will be back to Tennessee at a later date.

Edmonds is rated as the 140th overall prospect in the country, number 10 RB, and number 9 prospect from North Carolina for 2021, according to 247 Sports.
