Three-Star Athlete, Malachi Bennett, sees early opportunity at Tennessee, recaps vist

For three-star Athlete Malachi Bennett, the recruiting process is really just starting. Bennett holds five D1 offers coming out of his junior season with several more likely left out there. Bennett spent the first recruiting weekend of the year in Knoxville to take a look at the Vols. He breaks that down here.

Bennett said on what most stood out during his trip, "the academics part when they were talking about the degrees and majors that some of the football players have that I want to go to college for."

Bennett plans to major in Communication’s in college.

Bennett is one of the fastest rising prospects in the nation, and he sees an opportunity early at Tennessee. He said of the message from the Tennessee staff, "They were talking about how some of the players were going to be gone when my class gets in college how we would have a chance to start and work hard for a position."

Bennett is familiar to hard work coming from Fairfield Preparatory Academy in Alabama, and he is also familiar with current Tennessee signee Reginald Perry, who has played at the school with him during their high school career.

Bennett said on Perry and what it would mean to team up with him at the next level, " it is a big factor. He is a great player, and he loves the game. He could help them on the DL. It would mean a lot cause we were on the same team playing with each other for a while now, and we built a bond together just not as teammates as brothers too."

Bennett is rated as a three-star athlete per Rivals.com. He holds offers from Georgia Tech, Tennessee, Tulane, Troy, and UAB, so far.
