Top 100 LB Junior Colson talks return trip to Tennessee

Junior Colson of Ravenwood (TN) made the trip from Nashville to Knoxville on Saturday evening to spend time with Tennessee coaches and players. Colson is no stranger to Knoxville, and he breaks down another trip to Rocky Top here.

Colson made it in too late for the Junior Day activities, but said, "I wasn’t able to go on a Junior day, I came to hang out with the coaches."

Tennessee is showing Colson that he is a priority, and he said, "they keep showing me the love and why I should stay at home."

Colson continued by saying, "They show me that they really want me and that I’ll be an immediate impact, and I talk to everyone on the staff and some of the players."

Versatility is key for Colson and is a prime reason that he holds 29 Division 1 offers. He said, "they (Tennessee) see me being able to play all 4 downs."

Colson said on staying home, "it’s close to home and there is something about playing for the hometown."

Right now, there are no upcoming trips on Colson, who is one of the most sought after linebackers in the nation, but he will do his due diligence before making a decision.

Colson is rated as the 100th overall prospect in the nation, number 6 outside linebacker, and the number 2 prospect from the state of Tennessee, according to Rivals.com
