Tennessee joined the race for a junior college defensive end on Tuesday, who has all of the makings of being a national prospect down the line.
Hutchinson Community College (KS) prospect Zykeius Strong announced from his Twitter account he had received an offer from Tennessee. The Volunteers offer added to a growing list of Division 1 schools, including Maryland, Nebraska, and South Carolina.

He measures in at 6'5, 230lbs, and was an undiscovered prospect coming out of high school, which led to his Junior College path. His measurables are desirable as an edge rusher, as his Hudl reflects a 4.7 40-yard dash time, a 30.1" vertical jump, and a deadlift of 490lbs. His speed and length off the edge are certain aspects that are coveted in a Jeremy Pruitt defensive system. You can see Strong's HUDL film here.

Strong will finish out this season at Hutchinson before playing at the Division 1 level. His recruitment will be one to follow over the Spring as coaches now have a chance to evaluate film and reset big boards.
