Harrison Bailey has been a four-year starter for Marietta (GA) and has the accolades to back up his legacy. He holds practically every school record possible and is elite company on the all-time passing list in the state of Georgia. However, coming into this season, there was one thing left for Bailey to do. The future Tennessee signal-caller was still chasing the elusive 7A state championship.

That four-year chase end in culmination tonight. Bailey and his Marietta team defeated perennial powerhouse Lowndes County. Bailey was as efficient as he always in the championship showdown. Bailey threw for over 225 yards in the first half and helped Marietta get out to a 17-0 lead that the Vikings were never able to overcome. The Vikings scored 9 points in the second half to cut the deficit to 17-9, which is where it would end up.

Bailey finished the night 22 of 31 for 276 yards. Bailey will enroll at Tennessee in January.
