Watch: Vols Assistant Kim English receives pre-game tribute at Missouri
Kim English has earned the title of being one of the best assistant coaches in the country, and he has proven to be a key hire for Rick Barnes. Before English's coaching days, he was a star on the hardwood for Missouri from 2008-12.
During his playing career for the Tigers, English was a two-time all Big 12 selection, and also won a conference tournament MVP. English averaged 11.1 points per game during his four-year career in Columbia.
He had a huge impact on a program, as part of a senior class that won as many games as any to come through the program. Tonight, English returned to Columbia as a member of the Tennessee coaching staff, and he was welcomed back by the home team with a special introduction prior to tip-off.
