We are down to the final two weeks of our regular season Pick 6 package and we still need to make up lots of ground to reach .500.

So here goes.

The Games, The Picks

Virginia Tech -3 at Virginia

Tech is the hottest team in the ACC this side of Clemson. And if the Hokies win they might give Clemson a tougher time than anyone expects in the ACC title game. Tech wins and covers.

Virginia Tech 28, Virginia 21

Cincinnati plus 11 at Memphis

This could be the first of back to back games between these American Athletic Conference teams. Memphis is better and is playing better and is playing at home. Having said all of that, I don't think Memphis is two touchdowns better than Cincinnati, although the Bearcats have been struggling the past few weeks. Taking Memphis to win, but NOT cover.

Memphis 31, Cincinnati 27

Ohio State at Michigan, plus 8.5

Buckeyes are No. 1 and chasing an unbeaten season. Michigan is out of the mix for either the Big Ten title, but a Rose Bowl bid is possible. Ohio State can still lose to the Wolverines, win the Big Ten title and the national championship, so the sense of urgency is muted just a bit. Jim Harbaugh completes the trifecta with wins over Notre Dame, Michigan State and Michigan. Wolverines to cover and win outright.

Maryland at Michigan State-22.5

As poorly as Michigan State has been playing this season, Maryland is worse, much worse. Sparty rolls.

Michigan State 35, Maryland 7

Miami -8.5 at Duke

Canes were embarrassed last week by losing to FIU. Duke is just having a bad season and will pay the price for Miami's anger. Miami wins and covers.

Miami 38, Duke 14

Oregon State, plus 20 at Oregon

Not sure what Oregon's motivation is here and Oregon State has been a solid team all season. So 20 points is too much to give the Ducks, who are now in the role of spoilers (against Utah). Oregon wins, but does NOT cover.

Oregon 22, Oregon State 14
