STORRS, Conn. – The 10th-ranked UConn women's basketball team (11-4, 6-0 BIG EAST) travels to DePaul (16-4, 8-1) Wednesday for an 8 p.m. ET tip in Wintrust Arena. The game will air on SNY and the UConn Sports Network.

Wednesday's game is a reschedule of the teams' previously scheduled Dec. 31 meeting, which was canceled due to COVID. UConn was scheduled to play at South Carolina on Thursday, but the Gamecocks initiated a cancelation to reschedule an SEC game.

The Huskies beat St. John's, 75-57, on Sunday in Queens, N.Y. Senior Olivia Nelson-Ododa set career highs with 18 rebounds and 10 assists vs. the Red Storm. Freshman Caroline Ducharme set a personal best with 28 points. The Huskies scored 38 points in the paint. UConn was without senior Christyn Williams, who was in COVID protocols, for the third straight game.

UConn is 19-1 all-time vs. DePaul, including 19-0 under head coach Geno Auriemma.

DePaul has won four straight games, most recently a 94-74 win over Xavier on Sunday. This season, freshman Aneesah Morrow leads DePaul with 20.3 points and 12.5 rebounds per game. She has recorded 11 straight double-doubles. The Blue Demons lead the nation with 92.1 points per game. Head coach Doug Bruno is in his 36th season at DePaul.
