STORRS, Conn. - The No. 25 UConn baseball team (19-7) begin a five-game home stand this week with a pair of midweek games at Elliot Ballpark.

The Huskies face CCSU on Tuesday, April 5 at 3:05 p.m. and play their first-ever game against Merrimack on Wednesday, April 6 at 3:05 p.m.

UConn is coming off another weekend series win by taking two-of-three from Kent State this past weekend. The Huskies won all six non-conference series that it played and opened the year by winning two-of-three in the USF Baseball Invitational.

The Huskies last played CCSU in 2021 in the first game ever played at Elliot Ballpark, defeating the Blue Devils 2-0 behind a strong pitching performance from Pat Gallagher. All-time the Huskies are 33-9 against Central Connecticut.

UConn remains in the Top-25 polls this week for the third-straight week. The Huskies are ranked No. 25 by D1Baseball.com and 21 by Perfect Game.

After the pair of midweek games the Huskies will open BIG EAST Conference play against St. John's beginning on Friday, April 8 at 6:05 p.m.
