USC Football: Trojans Offer Class of 2025 Tight End Linkon Cure

Linkon Cure is a 6-6, 210-pound tight end out of Kansas

Goodland High School (Goodland, KS) class of 2025 tight end Linkon Cure took to X/Twitter today to announce he has received a scholarship offer from USC. Tight ends coach Zach Hanson was the man to extend Cure his offer.

Cure is a four-star prospect according to 247 Sports, and measures up at 6-6, 210 pounds. He's considered the 36th best prospect in the country in the class of 2025, the second best tight end in his class, and the 2nd best player coming out of Kansas. He's being heavily recruited by some of the top programs across the country due to his size/athleticism combination.

Cure holds offers from Notre Dame, Penn State, Nebraska, Missouri, Duke, and Oregon to name a few of many. But, according to On3, in-state program Kansas State has the inside track in Cure's recruitment.

Cure reminds me of current USC wideout Duce Robinson in that he is a matchup nightmare for opposing defenses. Cure is hyper athletic and is not only a good route runner, but a legit yards-after-catch threat as well.

Robinson was used sparsely during his first year at USC, but given he was a true freshman on a roster with plenty of talent at the wideout position, this shouldn't deter any tight end-type from committing to USC.

USC currently has zero commits in their 2025 class, but that number should soon change as the 2024 cycle winds down here in February. The Trojans do, however, have four recruits already committed to their 2026 class.
