Utah Star Alissa Pili on the Ann Meyers Drysdale USBWA National Player of the Year Watchlist

The college basketball regular season is reaching its twilight. As a result, shortlists for awards are starting to take shape and Utah's star Alissa Pili has a chance to add new silverware to her cabinet. 

The 40-player watchlist consists of premier names such as Caitlyn Clark, Angel Reese, JuJu Watkins, and Paige Bueckers so it won't be an easy road for Pili, but if she keeps up her consistent play, she's not a long shot to hoist the award at the end of the season. 

On the season, Pili is averaging 21.6 ppg, which ranks 13th among all players, and shoots 55.8% from the field, ranking 30th among all players. She accompanies her impressive scoring ability with 6.1 rebounds per game and 2.4 assists per game on average. 

A main driving force behind the #18 Utes 20-8 record, Pili has propelled the team to countless wins this season, some even historic, and her offensive ability combined with her game-changing physicality from the forward position is nothing short of a luxury that the program and fans will remember for countless years to come.
