Big 12 Media Days are Headed to Las Vegas

A new era of change is upon us in the Big 12, and that even includes the location of the conference's media days.

Normally, the conference holds the event at Jerry's World or AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, but for the foreseeable future, the media days will be hosted at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada, due to scheduling conflicts.

The Utes are no stranger to the stadium dubbed the 'Death Star' where they won back-to-back Pac-12 championships that subsequentially sent them to back-to-back Rose Bowl appearances. They also made an appearance as recent as last season in a not-so-memorable loss to Northwestern in the Las Vegas Bowl.

With the addition of Arizona, Arizona State, Colorado, and Utah to the conference for 2024, Vegas seems like an ideal location to host media days for the time being.

Big 12 media days will be held on July 9th and 10th where the now 16-team conference will convene for the first time for fans and the media to get their first taste of conference action.
