On Tuesday, former Utah and NFL star wide receiver Steve Smith Sr. was named to the East-West Shrine Bowl Hall of Fame.

Known for being the oldest college football all-star game, the East-West Shrine Bowl gives college football stars a chance to go up against in order to boost their draft stock or for some, play what could be the final game of their careers.

Smith played two seasons in Salt Lake City, totaling over 1,600 yards and 12 touchdowns during his career. His strong showing also led to him being named all-conference twice. Following his career at Utah, he played in the 76th East-West Shrine bowl back in 2001, which saw him catch two touchdown passes en route to being named Offensive MVP.

Smith will be honored during this year's game on February 1 in Frisco, Texas.
