Late in the first half of Super Bowl LVII, former Ute and Philadelphia Eagles rookie Britain Covey had a sizable punt return that set his team for an eventual field goal just before heading into the locker room.

Following an unproductive drive by Kansas City, the Chiefs elected to punt.

Setting up inside his own 20 yard line, Covey fielded the punt at the Philadelphia 16-yard line and proceeded to take it back 27 yards to the 43.

Doing what he does best, Covey quickly picked up speed and side-stepped four Kansas City defenders through a sizable gap. Shortly thereafter, Covey would be brought down at the 43 near midfield.

Following Covey's explosive return, the Eagles would cash in on a field 35 yard field goal after advancing to the Kansas City 17.

Just as he had done so many times at Utah, especially during his final collegiate season, Britain Covey demonstrated his elite return abilities on the games biggest stage.

As a Ute, Covey still holds the program record with 1,092 career punt return yards.
